Chanel has been the epitome of French Fashion since its founding in 1908. Classy, impeccably made, and empowering to women. Chanel wanted women to look expensive and fashion forward all while remaining an air of class and elegance, but is the brand still doing so today? Don't get me wrong Karl Lagerfeld is a genius. He has an eye for the weird in fashion that somehow seems to work even when you think it wouldn't, but is the direction he's going the right one for Chanel?

The difference is striking, but is this simply the evolution of fashion at work or is the evolution of the timeless brand into something not so timeless?
